Solitude is where one discovers one is not alone.

November Dunes - A Sloppy Win
If this was a football game, the writeup would include phrases like game delays, several starters on the injured list, saved by the defense and special teams, it’s like they were trying to lose but couldn’t and it’s a good thing they are coming into a bye week because they have some things to work on. I have needed the type of recharge that can only achieved with ‘space’ for a long time. If you know what I’m talking about, you already understand. If that makes no sense it probably never will so I won’t explain.
The Wisest of Friends
I have found that to find the best friends you also have to wander around in the best places. In my humble, but maturing, opinion, you won’t find any places better than nature.
Dappled
Landscape photography itself is dappled. You wander around in nature, experiencing good stuff and letting your batteries recharge a bit. Occasionally you run into some dark spots (usually because of bad choices). Occasionally your peripheral senses will tap you on the shoulder and show you something absolutely mind-blowing.
On the Same Page?
If you were on the same page as me, you would find it dog-eared, stained and creased. You would find it had been enjoyed, appreciated and pondered. You would probably also discover that it had never been fully read. Many of the paragraphs will have been started many times. You may even notice that the page isn’t in the same book it was when you first jumped on.
